AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals is planning to expand its manufacturing facility in Mahad in Maharashtra. The company plans to invest Rs. 320 million to upgrade its organic peroxides facility. The expansion of the facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2018. It may be noted, the company is also investing in a monochloroacetic acid project in a joint arrangement with Atul in Gujarat, due to start production in 2019.
