Deedy Chemicals Pvt Ltd is currently engaged in manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical and pesticides intermediates viz. Chloro Acetyl Chloride (CAC), Tri Chloro Acetyl Chloride (TCAC) and Tri Chloro Acetic Acid (TCAA) with the facility located at Sanand, Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
The company has set up a new facility at GIDC in Kalol near Ahmedabad, Gujarat to manufacture existing products (CAC and TCAC) as well as a high value added products (Acid Chlorides). The existing cumulative production capacity for all the products has been enhanced to 4200 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) from earlier capacity of 1800 MTPA post the setting up of new facility.
DCPL is promoted by Mr. Hemal Sheth and Mr. Vipul Patel and is part of a group which includes other entities in the similar industry like Phamson Chemicals, a partnership firm engaged in manufacturing Mono Chloro Acetic Acid (MCA) and Polychem Agency, a partnership firm engaged in marketing Caustic Soda and other products manufactured by Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited. In 2006, DCPL integrated backwards and acquired 49% stake in Phamson Chemicals.
