Reliance Industries plans expansion at Kharadpada

Reliance Industries is planning to expand its unit in Kharadpada near Naroli in Dadra Nagar & Haveli territory. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce 60,000 TPM of Polyester Chips by retrofitting an additional unit, Installation of 4 new multi fuel steam boilers of which 2 will be operated on liquid/ gas based (NG/FO/LSHS) fuels and the balance 2 based on coal/petcoke. It will produce partially oriented yarn (22500 tpa), fully drawn yarn (7500 tpa), polyester texturized yarn (30000 tpa), captive power generation power plant of 50 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 1800 million.
