Gharda Chemicals is planning to set up a new chemicals unit in Sayakha Industrial Estate in Vagra in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce agrochemicals, pesticide intermediates and specialty chemicals having enduses as specialty polymers, pesticides and their Intermediate chemicals.
It will produce Poly Ether Ketone(PEK),Poly Ether Ketone Ketone (PEKK), Polybenzimidazole(ABPBI), Poly Ether Imide (PEI) and other high performance polymers. It will also produce Para dichloride benzene (PDCB), Ortho Phenylenediamine (OPDA), Amino Ethyle Carbazole(AEC ), Chlornil and such other Specialty chemicals are basic raw material of pigment and pesticides. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 3200 million.
