Himdari plans expansion programme

Himadri Speciality Chemicals is planning to expand its facilities in , Mahistikry Village in Haripal Taluk in Hooghly district in West Bengal. The project involves expanding production facilities for Carbon Black from 1,20,003.96 MTPA to 1,80,000 MTPA, Coal tar Pitch(Binder/Impregnating/Liquid/Solid/Mesophase/HSCP/carbonised pitch) from 1,87,050 MTPA to 3,00,000 MTPA, Naphthelene from 21,999.96 MTPA to 48, 000 MTPA, SNF from 50,000.04 MTPA to 90,000 MTPA Heavy and light Creosote oil from 1,12,950 MTPA to 2,52,000 MTPA. The project also involves expanding power plant capacity from 20 MW to 28 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 4000 million.
