Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers plans brownfield expansion programme

Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers, is planning a brownfield expansion programme at its Mangalore plant. The company is planning to invest Rs. 10,000 million to expand manufacturing capacity of seven lakh tonnes of phosphatics a year . The project is likely to be completed by 2020. The company is also working on introducing natural gas as a feedstock for its fertiliser plant. The company expects a pipeline, delivering gas from Kochi terminal owned by Petronet, to fructify by 2019.
