F R Chem plans new unit in Lakshmipura

F R Chem Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a chemicals unit in Lakshmipura in Kadi in Mehesana district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of a synthetic organic chemicals unit to produce Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose [Na CMC] (75 tpm), Calcium Carboxymethyl Cellulose [Ca CMC] (25 tpm), Croscarmellose Sodium (25 tpm), Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) (50 tpm), Cellulose Acetate (75 tpm), Cellulose Xanthate (50 tpm, Cellulose Nitrate (50 tpm), Methyl Cellulose (50 tpm), Ethyl Cellulose (50 tpm) and Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (50 tpm). The project cost is estimated at Rs. 150 million.
