Swati Menthol & Allied Chemicals Ltd (SMACL) is engaged in manufacturing of Menthol and allied products and Pine and Aroma chemicals such as natural menthol, essential oil, peppermint oil, crude menthol oil, peppermint essential oil and terpene chemicals. The company also manufactures flavor and fragrance products and has a total portfolio of 33 products, all of which find application in several industries including Pharmaceuticals, Food, Oral care, Flavor, Fragrances, Tobacco, Cosmetics, and Paint. The company was set up by Mr. S K Gupta as a private limited company. It was reconstituted as a public limited company in 2001. The Company has certifications such as WHO GMP; Government of India Recognized “Trading House Company”, ISO 9001-2008, ISO 22000-2005 and Kosher & HACCP.

The Company caters to reputed customers such as such as Colgate-Palmolive Company, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Asian Paints, Nestle, Dabur, Ranbaxy, Hindalco, Nerolac, Unilever PLC, International Flavors, Firmenich Global Supply and Fragrances Inc, USA. Presently, the Company has two manufacturing units: Unit-1 for Mint Division (Capacity 4200 MT/year) & new installed Unit-2 in 2014 for Pine and Aroma Division (Capacity 5000 MT/year). Out of total installed capacity of 9200 units, the actual production in FY16 was 6748 units (73% capacity). Both units are situated at Rampur on NH-24 within 2 km distance from each other.
