Kkalpana Industries Limited (KIL) was promoted by Late D.C. Suranna and Mr. N. K. Suranna, son of Shri D. C. Surana, of Kolkata in 1985. The company commenced commercial production in December, 1989 by setting up a Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds manufacturing plant in Daman (U.T). The continuous expansions over the years, has resulted in diverse product portfolio consisting of PE compounds, PVC compounds, filled compounds, master batches, footwear compounds, EP compounds and Pipe compounds. The end users of its products are power cable industry (majorly used primarily in coating of cables to provide insulation and sheeting to cable wires), pipe industry, packaging industry, furniture industry and footwear industry. The company has various manufacturing plants situated in West Bengal, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli with an aggregate installed capacity of 2,81,700 MTPA.
