J U Agri Sciences Pvt Ltd is an agro-chemical formulation company engaged in sale of crop protection and pest management products. The company was incorporated in May 1986 as J.U. Pesticides and Chemicals Pvt Ltd and later renamed as JU Agri Sciences Pvt Ltd in November 2014. Its product portfolio includes insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, biocides, bio fertilizers and plant growth regulators (PGR).
The company has over 200 registered formulations approved by the Central Insecticides Board (CIB) and actively sells about 100 varieties of pesticides and allied agro-chemical products. The company has its formulation facility at Sikandarabad, Uttar Pradesh with a capacity to formulate 23 KL of emulsion concentrate and 15 MT of wettable dust powder & granules per shift of 8 hours . Besides in-house formulations, JU also procures biological pesticides from Tropical Bio Sciences, a Coimbatore based entity, where both JU and another Jhaver group company, Tropical Agro Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd.
