Croda India Pvt Ltd started operations in the year 1995, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Croda International. The company manufactures speciality chemical products. In 2006, Croda International acquired the worldwide Uniqema business from Imperial Chemical Industries Plc. This business was transferred to Croda India for Rs 288 crore on a slump-sale basis in January 2007, giving the company a strong manufacturing base in India.
