Chemstick India is a supplier of industrial chemicals & raw materials. They offer sodium bi-carbonate, citric acid, and caustic soda flakes (rayon grade). Their maize starch is a fine white powder, that is insoluble in water & alcohol.
The starch powder is a mixture of polysaccharides containing about 75 to 80% amylopectin, and 20 to 25% amylase. Malto dextrin is produced from starch by partial hydrolysis ranging up to 20 DE. These carbohydrates are easily digested, and more easily tolerated by diabetic patients. Being a food additive, these are also used as a base in preparation of food products such as health drinking, soups, and milk shakes.
