UPL Ltd is planning to expand its pesticides unit in Vapi in Valsad district of Gujarat. The project involves expanding Pesticide & Intermediates manufacturing unit to produce Cypermethrin (Insecticide) , Permethrin (Insecticide) , Propanil (Herbicide) , Safener (UPH-203 S) (Herbicide) , Aluminum Phosphide etc., The project cost is estimated at Rs. 2856.3 million. Land required for the project is already available.
