Bhilwara Energy Ltd is planning to set up rPET resin plant in Rajasthan. The project will recycle old plastics and PET bottles into rPET resin, which can be used to produce new PET bottles. The new plant will come up on 95 acres and will have a production capacity of 20 million pet bottles /100 kilo tonnes of food grade rPET resins. The plant will go operational by 2026.
