Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) is implementing a new LPG bottling plant at Barhi in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. Thew new plant will have a capacity of 1.2 lakh tpa with 48 filling guns automatic electronic carousal with downstream facilities. It also have a LPG mounded bullet storage of three x 350 tonne ( 1050 tonnes) eight truck unloading bays and other allied facilities. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 161.5 crore.
The company has completed land acquisition for the project in April 2019.
