Aypols Polymers is planning to expand its chemical unit in Perundurai in Erode district of Tamil Nadu. The project involves expanding resin manufacturing units facility from 1000 tpm to 3000 tpm and will install additional reactors, thermic fluid heater etc., It will produce polyester resins like phtahlic anhydride, maleic anhydride, neo pentyl glycol, mono ethylene glycol, di ethylene glycol, isopthalic acid, pet flakes etc.,
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 47.5 million. As of January 2019, the project is in planning stage.
