Cheminova India Ltd is planning to expand its chemical unit in Panoli in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of production facilities to expand its capacity from 19,705 tpa to 47,681 tpa. It involves setting up of process plant with reactors, condensers, centrifuge, rotary vacuum dryer, tank, process pump, RO system, chilling plant, cooling tower etc., The project cost is estimated at ₹ 7900 million.
On expansion, the company will produce chemicals like Bifenthrin, Clomazone, Thifensulfuron Methyl , Tribenuron Methyl, Metsulfuron Methyl etc.,
