Aarti Industries plans expansion of Vapi unit

Aarti Industries is planning to expand its chemical unit in Vapi in Valsad district of Gujarat. The project involves expanding production facilities capacity from 555 tonnes per month to 1500 tonnes per month. The new capacity will produce 4-Nitro Aniline (PNA) (50 tpm). 2-Chloro 4 Nitro Aniline (OCPNA) (20 tpm) , Para Chloro Ortho Nitro Aniline (75 tpm), Di Chloro Ortho Nitro Aniline (130 tpm, Calcium chloride solution, Ammonium Sulphate Solution /Ammonium Sulphate Solid as co-products. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 150 million. As of November 2017, the project is in implementation stage.
