SRF to expand its Dahej unit

SRF Ltd is planning to expand its Dahej plant in Gujarat. The project involves expanding manufacturing facilities to produce Ethyl-Trifluoropyruvate (200 tpa), Isoflurane (250 tpa), Desflurane (100 tpa), Sevoflurane (200 tpa), Trichloroacetyl chloride (2000 tpa), Trichloroethylene to increase from 8000 tpa to 10000 tpa, refrigerants like Butane (R600a) (1000 tpa), Propane (R290) (1000 tpa) and other related products. The project also involves setting up a captive power plant of additional 25 MW unit. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 48000 million.
