Visen Industries Ltd promoted by Mr Vijay Nair, is primarily engaged in the manufacture of emulsion polymers and also undertakes trading of the industrial chemicals. The company’s products find application in paints,textiles, paper adhesives and construction. At present, VIL has an installed capacity of 110,000 metric tonnes per annum (mtpa) for manufacturing the polymer emulsions. It is in the process of setting up another plant in Sharjah with an installed capacity of 100,000 mtpa to facilitate exports and a plant at Chennai with an installed capacity of 60,000 mtpa.
