Meghmani Finechem Ltd, a subsidiary of Meghmani Organics Limited (MOL) is planning to expanding the capacity of caustic soda in Bharuch from 294000 tpa to 4,00,000 tpa. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 2300 million. The project also involves expanding the captive power plant capacity from 96 MW to 132 MW.
As of November 2020, the project is in implementation and is likely to go operational by the year 2022.
