Asahi Songwon Colors is planning to set up a synthetic organic chemicals manufacturing facility at Dahej in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facility in over 60,000 sq mtr of land with a production capacity of 1,665 tpm. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 2,685.50 million which will me met with bank loan and internal accruals.
As of May 2019, the project has received statutory clearances and the work is likely to start by October 2019.
